Praetura Commercial Finance announces key appointment to credit management team
Praetura Commercial Finance has bolstered its team still further with the appointment of Adam Hooson, who has recently joined the business from Grant Thornton as a Commercial Analyst.
Adam has a deep understanding of event-driven transactions, ranging from £2m to £20m EV, gained from buy-side / sell-side deal exposure in Grant Thornton corporate finance and personally through his involvement in the family business. After receiving a first-class Masters in Chemistry, Adam has gone on to obtain his ACA. As a Commercial Analyst, Adam will work across a broad range of financial disciplines at Praetura Commercial Finance, spanning audit, survey, portfolio risk management and account management.

Last year, the business reported an increase in total facilities by 91% to £51 million. Client drawn funds increased by 75.4% and client revenues reached £0.5 billion.
